400 HL BMT

THE Gyro-Trac 400 HL BMT is the only heavy-duty Cutter-head on the market today that weighs less than 1,000 pounds and can handle hydraulic flows up to 50 GPM. The 400 HL BMT is designed and built tough for use on small tractors with a boom arm as well as mini-excavators or track hoes. You will be able to increase productivity by cutting more wood in less time and with less weight than with any competitor in its class today. 

The 400 HL features a variable displacement hydraulic motor, can cut a 6-inch diameter tree and completely mulch it into fine wood chips, is great for mulching ditches or on slopes and roadsides. It allows you to clear acres of trees and brush, and create right-of-ways, survey and fence lines.

High/Low Flow

The Gyro-Trac 400HL Cutter-head is designed for Skid Steers and Compact Track Loaders from 60 to 140 hp, with standard quick-connect and hydraulic flows between 17–50 gpm. This industry proven Cutter-head is fast and easy to attach to any High-Flow or Low-Flow Skid Steer or Compact Track Loader without the requirement for any special hoses or couplings.

The Gyro-Trac 400HL can be top-mounted, with an optional bracket, on small excavators capable of handling the Cutter-head’s weight and hydraulic flow requirements, and the push bar may be removed for boom mounted applications. By using the 400HL Cutter-head, you will cut and mulch more wood in less time than with any other mulcher in its class today.

300 BX

Boom Mounted

Our Boom Mounted Cutter-head is designed to weigh less than 1000 pounds while handling hydraulic flows of up to 40 GPM.  Our head offers less weight and more productivity than any other Cutter-head on the market. Replacing worn out teeth is a breeze with our single bolt replacement system. Your machines can get back into the action faster!

Our Cutter-head has also made improvements to the formula with a new self cleaning design, clearing the tooth before the next bite keeps blades sharper for longer. Plus, with knockout relief the resistance is reduced by allowing wood chips to curl. The strategically placed split blocks also break the chips up further, making the final pieces even smaller.
