Gyro-Trac uses its new Sabre-Tooth Cutting Technology to deliver superior performance. Gyro-Trac’s Sabre-Tooth cutting technology is Gyro-Trac’s latest innovation, improving on the flagship “Planar” tooth platform. With a Gyro-Trac mulching machine, you are now able to pulverize wood into sawdust-like mulch while utilizing Less Weight, Less Energy and Less Fuel (out-performing any other mulching system on the market.) The small, rapidly bio-degradable mulch left behind by the Sabre-Tooth creates a ‘park-like effect’ that won’t wick fire. The new Sabre-Tooth design uses the wider tooth for better cutting coverage. Behind the tooth, there is a knockout that allows the chip to curl into the relief with little resistance.Instead of a single ‘rib’ under the tooth on the planar tooth design, we now we use two ribs to control the bite. Gyro-Trac has placed a splitter block between the ribs that further reduces the size of each chip. The cutter-head has fewer clogs providing more productivity, thanks to the self-cleaning design.  To replace a tooth, the single bolt is easy to remove because it holds a friction block wedge which keeps the bolt from warping.
